More freelance and work-at-home job news:
How to Find Freelance Jobs – Finding Your Role as a Freelancer

One of the most frequent questions I get from people who want to start their own consulting business is: “What is the role of a freelance consultant?” In other words “How do I let the client know I’m the right person for their project?” This can be a tricky question. You can go into many directions on this one. However, it’s very simple….

The role of the consultant is to satisfy any short term need a business has. Once that need is satisfied then you’re done.

So what does that mean to you when looking for freelancing work? When you get down to basics of finding freelancing work, you need to be surgical in your pitch to the prospect when you define the role you’ll fill when they hire you for the project. Let’s look at an example together:

Let’s say you saw a project for writing services for “20 Articles Needed on Deep Fried Cooking” with the following requirements:

1. The writer should be motivated to write on the subject of deep fried cooking.<br>

2. Articles should be 300 words each.

3. Articles must be perfect English and unique.

4. The writer should provide a sample of their work.

To prove motivation to the prospective client, you need to show your desire for cooking and your experience in writing articles related to cooking. You also do not want to emphasize your other specialties at this point, unless it’s related to cooking. Remember, relevant experience is the key here.

Do you want to mention that you wrote two novels on completely unrelated subjects? Perhaps. However, does it fill the role needed to complete the project? Not really. While it’s great that you did, you may not want to mention that at the top of your sales pitch because the prospective client is only looking at what’s important to them.

Now, let’s touch on the last three requirements. You can show your abilities for these requirements very easily by providing an article on cooking. The article sample should also be the same word count as the requirements. A writing sample like that will show them that you can provide exactly what he needs and will show your aptitude for cooking.

The main thing you should get out of this example is you need to focus like a laser beam on the client requirements. If you can’t them that your services are best for their project, then it’s not a fit for them or you.

Remember, there is no one size fits all solution on how to find freelance work. However, showing interest to a prospective clients needs, shows them you can take on the role to complete the project effectively.

Secrets Of Creating Your Own Internet Products Easily And How Bet To Use It To Brand Your Self In The Freelance Jobs Internet Community

So much had been written and said on how best to effectively do an internet business, especially when you are working from home. Now let me tell you a little bit of what happened to me years back while trying to announce my presence to the internet marketing community.I started by reading every conceivable book i came across on the internet.I read both paid and free ones, needless to say that they were in several hundreds or even more.I would not out-rightly say that it was all wasted but the fact remained that i achieved much less than i really desired. This went on for close to 3 years before i found my rythm. What did I do?

I decided to focus on just one area of home based internet business. When the idea came to me that i needed to be focused in one direction, i quickly made up my mind to find online freelance jobs.Did my focus pay off? Absolutely yes. This was years ago.I built on what i discovered over the years and gradually moved to other niches. You have to be focused if your desire is to start earning real high from your work at home internet business.

The truth is that you have a unique strength you can leverage on.What is required of you now is to find that strength within you and try as much as you can to use it effectively in your internet business. This is the easiest way to boldly announce your presence in the internet world.

Your uniqueness, conversations, experience, both at home or at various scenes are things others may want to learn from.It is very much easier to package the said experience and spread it to the entire internet community than you had ever thought. You have to create your own product. The question many new online income seekers ask is where do they start. You can start from the experiences you have in any field of life.

There are things you need to know, though if you really want to create your product and get it to waiting internet audience fast. But you have to start writing things down right now as they occur to you.It is a very good way to start, before you go and seek a bit of knowledge on how best to quickly put together all you really want your audience to read.It does not take much time before you become an internet product or e-book author. All you have to do is look for those who really are doers and discover what they are doing right. That way, you will get a fair chance of creating your internet product in few days.Neddless to repeat that your yet to be created product may be an answer to some questions millions of people all over the world are asking.

How To Start Earning An Average Of Over ,000 Monthly Through Work From Home Online Freelance Jobs

How you plan your work schedule in any endeavor will go a long way in determining the effectiveness of your actions toward getting positive results. This directly relates to freelance jobs. When you start an internet or home based business and take freelance job seeking as your specialty, you really need to have a detailed plan on how not just to get clients to award jobs to you but more importantly how to attract freelance jobs that will pay you well.I had heard a work at home mum say that the jobs she gets from many freelance employers are just low paying.

It should not be the case if only she knows how to go about it in more professional manner. Why do you think that few freelancers whose fees are considered high get more jobs and keep their positions at the top?It is becuase of a number of reasons, one of it being that they deliver excellent jobs to all their clients. It does not stop there becuase the higher you rank in freelance job market, the more challenging tasks clients throw your way. This is one of the reasons you have to pick areas you know you can passionately work in when deciding the freelance niche to operate in.

There are no lay down rules on how to choose where you will start when it comes to internet work at home business. But when you must have made your mind to do freelance jobs, make sure you position your self for those jobs that you can happily work on without much strain. That way, what you have inside you will help boost the quality of your job delivery. There are many top tips that can literary boost your income potential from online freelancing jobs but a second look at the points mentioned here will help to,much more than put you on a very fast pedestal.

Benefits of doing online freelance jobs and how you can command higher income doing this work at home business..

It is very ironical but a fact that many people wrongly believe that they need to be gurus in other to command high paying jobs from their work at home freelancing.
Making real money from any home based business requires fair level of dedication

.Are you an internet marketer, just blogger, work from home mum or an online freelance jobs seeker? The possibility of earning a good level passive income from internet business is quite high but you have to realize that you need to concentrate.

A close look at thousands of people who want to earn a living passively online doing freelance jobs shows that majority of them does not know how to package themselves to attract both the job givers and their confidence to be able to get more jobs over and over, while paying them well for the good works delivered.

What do you think majority of work from home or freelance job seekers lack? Can you think of any?Or are you one of those who had tried hard to earn more from this work from business but could not?I would be happy if you can answer these questions; If you are the one looking for a freelancer online for a particular job, what are the qualities you would look out for before you award your job?Where would you look for the freelance job seeker? What type of work from home personality will attract your interest? If you give your first job to a typical online freelance job seeker and he or she delivers an excellent work, would you be happy to use him or her another time?Would you go for a cheaper bidder for your work in lure of someone whose bid is a little bit higher but is certain to give you exactly what you want? Will there be any possibility of you desiring that the finished job delivery date does not change?

Now,were you able to at-least answer some of the above questions? My point here is for you to put your self in the position of the freelance employer and try a much as possibly to see the online freelancing world from his or her views. It is very easy for you as a work at home Professional to shoot your self at the foot if all you do is try to deliver anything less than very quality finished jobs to your clients. There are steps you need to take to make sure that the jobs you would deliver to your online employers meet their needs and believe me,it would be the first phase of you joining the freelance gurus online. Also have in mind that there are things you need to do to get jobs awarded to you in the first place.Do i need to remind you that you do not necessarily need to do what every other online freelancer is doing;rather, discover how best to satisfy your clients and stick to what works for you.The big question is,how do you stand out and earn more than several other work from home freelance work seekers?

The Best Freelance Job Boards for Writers?

How many times have you checked out a job board to that either it no longer exists or that there is one or two jobs listed. Out of the hundreds of job boards on the Web today, how do you find those containing projects that you are interested in and qualified for.
I have recently surveyed over 300 freelance web sites and these are the best boards for freelance writers. The benchmark that I used for judging the board was the number of legitimate projects (as opposed to “business opportunities”) and requests for submission being posted every month. I have only included ones posting 30 projects or more a month
The very best
I picked Guru This huge all-inclusive board connects independent professionals (a.k.a. “gurus”) with contract projects. If you are new to independent consulting, check out the Run Your Biz section, which includes a “Getting Started” column, where you can leave a question to be answered by experts. Lots of other useful information (e.g. tax and finance, legal, etc.) for contractors. Find a contracting job (“gig”) searching by field (creative/media, finance and legal, etc.), keyword, and geography.. Recently, it acquired IT Moonlighter , another with lots of freelance jobs. Whatever, Guru is probably the largest freelance marketplace on the Web. Over 3,300 projects posted last month.
What makes Guru.com stand out from is the number and variety of projects listed and the easiness of accessing the job. Unlike the others, Guru sends daily email alerts of writing gigs that match your profile.
Number of writing projects posted every month: 207
Type of projects: Everything and anything, many articles, ghostwriting, editing, copyright, some onsite, some technical. Has the best all around listing of freelance writing gigs.
Other good freelance writing sites
AllFreelanceWork. Its sister site AllFreelance is my number one site for articles about freelancing and freelance resources.
Number of writing projects posted every month: 10
Type of projects: Technical and business writing
Contracted Work A freelance site that has grown in great leaps and bounds. You can do a search and find a great number of projects. There is a monthly fee in order to search for projects, but it might be worth checking out. I personally found that I was not finding enough leads for the type of writing I do to be worth the fee.
Number of writing projects posted every month: 50-74
Type of projects: Openings tends more to web content, copywriting, and sales and marketing
Elance. I was actively involved in bidding on this site for a year. However, I did not get my money’s worth. It is geared towards business and technical writing.
Number of writing projects posted every month: 130+
Type of projects: little bit of everything: articles, ghostwriting, e-books, web content, technical. Lots of editing and proofreading jobs too
Freelance Work Exchange Non-Auction freelance site. The Freelance Work Exchange has listings for writers, designers, consultants, programmers. Yes … it does cost to join; however, there is .00 7-day trial memberships so you can test it to see if it will get you work! Highly recommended. Freelance Work Exchange is a solid, reliable freelance site, but in order to search jobs it will cost you a monthly fee.
Number of writing projects posted every month: 30-40
Type of projects: little bit of everything: calls for articles, ghostwriting, e-books, web content, technical. Geared more towards general writing markets, as opposed to corporate-style stuff.
Freelance Writing This is the ultimate job board for freelance writers. Contest, blogs, forums, resources. Everything.
Number of writing projects posted every month: 40
Type of projects: Calls for articles, copywriting, E-books, research papers, ghostwriting,
Independent Homeworkers Alliance — touts itself as the “largest provider of legitimate home-based jobs on the Internet.” Offers a search engine for at-home jobs, as well as numerous resources. .95 a month Subscription
Number of writing projects posted every month: 70
Type of projects: calls for submissions of articles, scripts, e-books, some sales and marketing, not much technical writing.
Sologigs With over 20,000 projects for freelancers, Sologig has a lot to offer. You need to register to get access to all the projects, with the higher levels of membership securing you a higher profile in the exchange. Most of the freelance writing jobs were onsite technical/business writing.
Number of writing projects posted every month: Estimate 100+ projects posted every month. To see the exact number, you have to register. A Bronze membership with .75 prepaid for three months
Type of projects: geared heavily towards onsite technical writing gigs
Telecommuting Jobs — where job seekers can view several hundred telecommuting/offsite jobs posted directly by employers, as well as thousands of jobs posted to other major job sites. Searching is free, but there is a small fee to post your resume. Telecommuting Jobs Telecommute jobs for Writers, Programmers, Artists, etc. Links to additional sites to continue the search for that which is so hard to find – a good paying, mid-term telecommute contract. Good deal for the /yr registration fee required.
Number of writing projects posted every month: 80
Type of projects: Wide variety of projects: article wanted, research papers, journalism, copywriting, not much technical
http://www.100earningtips.com Welcome to http://www.100earningtips.com a resource for work at home jobs for your small office or home business. We provide job posting for work at home jobs and advertising to work at home businesses. Posting on work home jobs is free and you may contact our work at home providers by visiting the profile page and clicking email professional
Number of writing projects posted every month: 20-30
Type of projects: Wide variety of projects: articles, web content, sales and marketing, technical
A word to the wise
Be selective about what types of projects that you bid for. There is a lot of competition out there, so do not waste your time with projects that you are not qualified for or do not interest you. If you are spending more than an hour a day responding to leads from the job boards, then you may need to redefine your niche. Don’t try to be all things to all people. In addition, remember that, in order to be a successful freelance writer, you should not be using the boards as your only way of finding projects. You should also be out there networking with other writer, setting up your own website, and researching writing opportunities in your own community. In the end, these strategies will net your more work than limiting yourself to working the job boards.
